Oh yeah, me too! Meh, when I try to pronounce that, everything I get is a nonsensical 'show-how-show-how'.

I saw these "laughs" on TarjaBrasil for the first time, and it took me a while only to realise those were actually a different version of "haha".

The kind of Brazilian laughter I was familiar with is "huehuahauhuahahuehuau"

Isn't it funny how there are kinds of laughter associated with individual nations? xD

Yeah, our 'HUSAHSUAHSAUHA' or 'heuheuehehue' is just a funny way of "Hahahaa".
I just used that but when I went to the OF and noticed nobody there used this! So I was afraid people think I'm crazy!

Oh, and some of my friend use this: "kopskaskkspaksaposkpka"!

We actually have many different ways of laughing. Let me explain in a chronological order:

When we started using the internet, we use just to write "risos" (laughs).
Then people abbreviated it to "rs".
Then the "hahaha" came, together with "hehehe" (more cheerful), "hihihi" (funny laughs, usually indiscrete), "hohoho" (making fun of someone OR imitating ) and "huhuhu" (mocking HARD ).

Then we needed to write quickly not to lose time, so there came forms like "hauahuahauhauhaua", "hiaehiaeoiaheoiuaheoiueia" (which I personally find more practical ), "hsuiahoiushoaiuhsoaihsoaisha" and similars.

Then the "emos" came and started laughing with:
"SPOKSPOSKPOSKPOSKPOS" (which actually means nothing)
"XHIUAHXiuahoxiuhaoIUXhoIAXHoiaXHoiaUXhoaix" (TOTALLY emo ¬¬')
...and, more recently, "IAUFCOWIUBVOIWEBOV0FIYAHOFIVBUGAOBVNOAEVHRYGYMOXIHGEFC" (when you press ALL the keyboard's letters together).

That's it... And it's completely STUPID, but... LOL

Well, the last one actually makes sense in a way because it suggests that you are laughing so hysterically that you can't even type anymore ...

Sometimes in spanish forums, there is "Jejejejejeje".

Laughter on the internet. Might be a good theme for a dissertation.
