Oh..that is the song I haven't listened yet...or at least not in a long time, she played it last year in concert, but that has been long ago...I have the song, but I think I want to listen to it first on CD...and it is not on the European Version...

I personally can´t stand the lyrics of Crimson Deep. It could be a perfect blast in the style of old heavy metal, but... come to me, I cried, I need you? Oh please

On the contrary, the lyrics of Falling Awake are awesome

You know, sometimes Crimson Deep makes me think of a cry for help to someone she's lost, like maybe her mom, or maybe I am insane.

I like the lyrics of Crimson Deep very much. I don't really share people's opinions with them being at all 'emo'. Compare, for example, "Come to me, I cried, I need you!" to "Come to me, I need you!" It is like she is commenting on a certain helplessness and neediness she felt before, from an outside perspective, as opposed to writing a whiny song about needing someone now. It seems to me like Tarja is acknowledging those emotions, instead of feeling them. I find the whole song very interesting.

This! I totally agree, it's like she's writing a short story from a third person point of view. </writer>

I find that emo labelling quite ridiculous. It's like with the word diva, or lately epic as well.

From WLB I really like the lyrics of Dark Star and Underneath. And the ones from Falling Awake and If You Believe too.

Ah, that's cute! And who wrote it?

Uhm, me. That's a thingy which everyone can sign for everyone; and at the top of it we can write a quote for ourselves which fits us or something.

My favorite song of Tarja is .....'Underneath', although i'm a guy this song definitely let tears rolling donw my face.
The lyrics are a little bit personal too me but the way Tarja express them makes this song one of the best songs i have ever heard.

I agree, it's a gorgeous song.

I think my favourite line on the entire album is: Descend to find the depth of your heart.
